Brenda Mangan (Makeup and Hair)

Brenda Mangan grew up in Medford, MA and became a licensed hairstylist in 1989. Unfulfilled with day work at a local salon, she furthered her training by becoming a makeup artist and began her freelance career as a makeup artist and hairstylist in 1994. Brenda now utilizes her talents on-location for editorial features, fashion shows, photo shoots, video production, and destination weddings.

In1998 Brenda joined Anemone founder, Ann Marie Laurendeau and has since become a valuable part of the Anemone team, regularly supervising Anemone's large events and photo shoots.

Brenda's talent, strong work ethic, independent spirit, and dedication to her art stand out with each project and every client she works with. Brenda frequently travels throughout New England and New York and resides north of Boston with her husband and two daughters.

Michele Manzione (Hair and Makeup)

Michele grew up in New York City and began her career as a hairstylist and makeup artist in 1988. Through the 1990's Michelle worked at several upscale downtown Manhattan salons, and became well-known for her classic tailored haircuts, and natural highlights as well as her ability to impress her international clients.

A desire for a change of pace and atmosphere led her to Massachusetts in 2004. Michele brought her 20 years of experience to Anemone in 2005, working as a hair and makeup artist on fashion shows, editorial features, photo shoots, and weddings throughout New England.

In additional to being a licensed hairstylist, in 2007 Michelle earned her Instructor's license through the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology. She is currently working on her Bachelor of Arts in Education at University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Michele resides in the Boston area with partner Rich and 2 year old son Zachary.

Beth Hammond (Makeup)

New Hampshire native Beth Hammond began her career as a makeup artist in 1997 working for such prestigious cosmetic companies as Lancôme, and MAC.

In 2001 she began her freelance career, providing makeup services for movies, television, print and runway as well as working as a set designer for various retail outlets. In 2005 Beth brought her versatile makeup style to Anemone, which ranges from rock star edgy to minimalist. As a former model, Beth uses makeup as a form of expression to create any illusion imaginable.

Beth is based in Boston and travels throughout New England and beyond.
